Recovery for the
City of Discovery

The Rebuild Ocean Springs Fund is the only non-profit fund exclusively dedicated to offering humanitarian assistance to organizations that help individuals, rebuilding public infrastructure, and restoring key institutions for the Ocean Springs Community.

Ocean Springs, founded in 1699, is known as the “City of Discovery” for its place in the history of the Gulf Coast region. Following Hurricane Katrina's devastating effects on homes, schools, businesses and every aspect of community life, Ocean Springs and its people are now looking towards the future ~ to recovery.

The Rebuild Ocean Springs Fund is a local, non-profit organization made up of volunteers with a shared vision for Ocean Springs. By directing charitable giving towards recovery for Ocean Springs, this city can serve as an anchor for rebuilding and renewal for the entire region.

The Rebuild Ocean Springs Fund is established as a 501(c)(3) Advised Fund with the Foundation for the Mid South. By giving to the Fund, you will help:

Provide humanitarian assistance to individuals - A portion of the funds raised will be distributed to organizations that help individuals to help rebuild their homes and lives. Through those organizations we will assist individuals and families to develop their own disaster recovery plans. People will receive help with housing, medical care, and other services.

Rebuild public infrastructure and key institutions - A portion of the funds raised will fund grants to help rebuild the community facilities and infrastructure, such as parks, green space, arts and culture, neighborhood renewal and economic development. In order for individuals to recover and thrive, there must be homes, businesses, services and amenities for them to depend upon.

Share our vision, join our cause
and together we will
Rebuild Ocean Springs.
