The Fund is run by volunteers, so 99% of all contributions will be dispersed in Ocean Springs through local grants to organizations that help individuals and non-profit organizations.

The Rebuild Ocean Springs Fund is a local, non-profit organization made up of volunteers with a shared vision for Ocean Springs. By directing charitable giving towards recovery for Ocean Springs, this city can serve as an anchor for rebuilding and renewal for the entire region. The Rebuild Ocean Springs Fund is a 501(c)(3) Advised Fund with the Foundation for the Mid South.

By giving to the Fund, you will help:

Provide humanitarian assistance to organizations that help individuals, and
Rebuild public infrastructure and key institutions.

A portion of the funds raised will be distributed to organizations that will help individuals rebuild their homes and lives, and meet basic needs for food, clothing and shelter. A portion of the funds raised will also be used to help rebuild community facilities and infrastructure, restoring quality of life for local residents through parks, arts and culture, neighborhood renewal and economic development.
